The new appointee steps into the role of studio head at 31st Union following the departure of previous head the ex-Sledgehammer Games executive, who was removed from his post due to Project Ethos' disappointing unveiling last autumn.
Recently, the company's top executive David Ismailer updated team members about this organizational change through an internal memo, which stressed that playtesting had indicated the requirement for a more defined direction.
The president stated that the team is now reimagining the project with a refreshed vision, aiming to better meet gamer demands.

Brinkman presently holds the role of senior developer and head of production at Respawn Entertainment for their flagship title.
